The film has been banned in Pakistan, and calls out muslim terrorists pretty clearly, by name, flags, locations etc. So be it. Let the politicos and the twitterati of both side fight it out, like they did for PK, you and I need to enjoy the films and creative works that need no censure. The film was so well made, so nuanced, so “bloody” good in all respects that, I along with the 22 others who were watching at our home theatre, gave a sitting ovation for Vishal Bhardwaj at the end. [yasr_overall_rating size=”small”] I liked ‘Life of Pi’ for the same reasons that I liked the film ‘Life is Beautiful’ and ZNMD . I am fond of movies that celebrate life. But since its from the same Director, lets just say, she tried but it could not be.
Bhajrangi Bhaijan.
Some films are an outcome of brilliant “components” strung together which don’t somehow, in the end, create a wonderful whole.
